East Cape Cycling Champs

East Cape Provincial Cycling Road and Time Trial Championships is the provinces premier road event where the champions per age group are crowned. The event alternates yearly between Port Elizabeth and East London as host centers

Event is open to all Eastern Cape cyclists
For podium recognition the following requirements need to be met:
Junior (U19), U23, Elite:
CSA Full Racing License AND ECC affiliated club membership
All other Age Categories:
CSA Membership or Day License AND ECC affiliated club membership

2021 COVID-19 Requirements

The event will be held under very strict Covid requirements which is Non-Negotiable and MUST be abided by ALL:
- Only On-Line Entries and EFT Payments will be accepted. This is to eliminate cash and entry forms contact between individuals.
- Everybody MUST where a mask at all times. Participants may only remove masks 1 minute before your starting time and MUST be reapplied on your face immediately after you have finished.
- Masks MUST be over your nose and mouth and NOT around your chin.
- Social Distancing must be adhered to at all times.
- There will be No Prize Giving and/or Podium Presentations. Medals will be forwarded to your club for distribution.
- No gatherings may take place around the venue. After finishing your event you need to leave the venue immediately.
- Starting arrangements and times will be described in detail elsewhere on this web.
- The Event Organiser has the right to ask you to remove yourself from the venue immediately if any of the Covid requirements are not adhered to.

Enter Both Time Trial and Road Race for R200

Prize Giving
No Prize giving will take place under Covid restrictions
